Ottawa region power outages – September 23, 2018

(Ottawa, Canada) Please be advised, WorldReach Software Headquarters has been unfortunately greatly affected by two consecutive tornadoes that hit the Ottawa region on Friday, September 21st evening.

There has been damage to much of the electrical grid in the area, including the WorldReach office and as of 8:30PM EST Sunday, September 23rd, power has not yet been restored. As such there is no email or phone service at the moment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will of course, be working with Hydro Ottawa and building facilities to get this resolved as soon as humanly possible.

Additionally, with more than 400 traffic signals without power and as the cleanup continues, Ottawa City officials are pleading with people in the area to stay home Monday.  All schools in the Catholic and public boards have also officially been cancelled for Monday, as the region deals with the aftermath of this devastating extreme weather event.

We will update this as news becomes available. Thank you for your patience.
