WorldReach Software – New WTTC Global Member

(Ottawa, ON) WorldReach Software is now a proud Global Member of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). The WTTC is the only international organization that brings together the main actors in the travel and tourism sector, and leads the Seamless Traveller Journey (STJ) initiative.

The STJ vision is that travellers will no longer have to repeatedly present travel documents, boarding passes and booking confirmations multiple times to multiple stakeholders at different stages of their journey. Instead they will be able to book transportation, request a visa/electronic travel authorization, check-in, proceed through security, cross borders, board aircraft, collect baggage, rent a car, check in and out of hotels, and access myriad destination services, simply by confirming their identity and booking data. WorldReach’s remote identity and document verification (IDV) solution is the Front Door to Seamless Traveller Journeys.

Over the last year, WorldReach has been invited to participate in and speak at WTTC-led Seamless Traveller Journey workshops in Seattle and New York.

WTTC Global Summit

WorldReach is also one of a very select number of by-invitation-only exhibitors in the Biometric Showcase at the WTTC Global Summit in Seville, 2-4 April 2019. This international summit is hosted by Ayuntamiento of Seville, in partnership with Turismo Andaluz and Turespaña. Gordon Wilson, President of WorldReach, will be speaking on the Innovating the Traveller Experience Panel at 2:15 PM on Wednesday, April 3rd.
